PLD is snakebit as f*** too. We wouldn't be having any of these conversations if he sinks both goals instead of hitting the posts late in the last 2 games.

Panthers fan saying you've got a good team, may be on a cold streak right now but would not want to play you guys come playoff time. Very similar teams stats wise and style of play.
This team still isn't built to win in the playoffs. They can win playing this style of hockey in the regular season. But not in the playoffs.

that's the rub though innit?

gotta make the playoffs to be a playoff problem... blink and we won't even be in the picture

What's with the elite road record and mediocre home record?
Fix that, a trade and more offense late in games should help?

All the best the rest of the way.

You're probably making a good point, but we're too busy wallowing in last-minute (now last-second) collapses to hear reason right now.

Kings dump on shitters. They're win% against Sub.500 teams is absurd. Their win% against anyone with a winning record is continuing to go down and it's something like .440 now.

I think if we get one more L Blake HAS TO consider replacing TMac. He should already be mulling it. If we hadn't of gone on that crazy road run earlier, he would've been gone already. But this guy does not live up to his exorbitant salary.

The Islanders showed everyone how to beat LA. Play a physical defensive game, grind it out, keep the score down. And don't let LA play their wide open skating game.

That has been their weakness since McLellan was hired, but this year it was the Caps loss at home that turned the tide of the season.
