Kings got what they deserved! Another former Kings goalie beats their old team! Quick, Jones, are there any other former Kings goalies playing in the NHL?!

Kings may be a top 5 scoring team, but they are really fools gold when it matters! When opponents are neutralizing the Kings forwards playing their dumb perimeter hockey, where are the coaching adjustments to have the D a lot more active offensively?! If Doughty misses the net, then who else on the back end is stepping up? Spence has it in him, we shouldn't be expecting so much from a rookie.

I'll bet anyone here, Will Ferrell could coach more fire into this team than TMac Charmin!

DuBlois is the Problem and Now Blake is going to fix it by doing what? Here's an idea put Lucien DeBlois with Kempe and Byfield and see the 2 Wingers dry up in misery and put Kopi on the 3rd centre spot with Grundstrom and "Jacques Laperriere

Kings are stuck with PLD, but maybe even worse they are stuck with TMac Chamin! How does anyone expect PLD to start producing, if the coach is so soft on the players. If the coach is soft, then the team plays soft!

I would too. Sutter works well - but ages quickly like milk. Would be good for half a season

He thinks about posters not the game. GBH is a ref and likes to call penalties in the forum, though nobody hired him that i know of :)

I’ve been on the #firetodd bandwagon for a long while, it’s time for a good old fashioned trashcan lockout to happen!
 
That sucked.

Once again Kings have scoring problems.

If you look at these recent losses, LA's D has actually been pretty good, but they just haven't been able to generate anything offensively.

I feel sorry for any Kings fan that paid to watch that game. Yuck.
 
Some of us have been saying it for years the Kings aren’t going to win with the current leaders on the team. Neither Kopitar nor Doughty will drag a team into the trenches and do the dirty work. Zero emotional leadership, hell zero emotion. Fiala gets pissy and so does Dubois but the rest? Bleh. Englund should’ve had that fight in the first few minutes of the second. Am I taking crazy pills? Isn’t this shit obvious to the staff? The lack of emotional engagement is wild to me.

One of the reasons the Kings D is weak generating offense, because after Doughty/Spence the other 4 are kind of invisible offensively. Plus the fact, if the forwards are out on the perimeter, then where is the traffic with screens/tips/redirects going to be created from? This is where Arvidsson excels at, while we got rid of Vilardi and Iafallo. Man I miss Brown creating havoc in front of that net!

Someone tell me why Kopitar at least 2 times made an extra pass instead of shooting the puck?! Kopitar is a bit of a north/south center and he's trying to be more of playmaker? Byfield was quiet tonight. Thought he was starting to step up and score some goals?
 
That's just not good enough. Team needs a shot in the arm now, either calling up Clarke or mixing up the lines. Somethings got to change now. Go back to the drawing board and figure it out.

They need a Richards, Regehr, Stoll, or especially Greene.

Nope! We the fans clearly see it, but TMac Charmin is just plain stubborn and doesn't want to make the necessary changes. Brown was the real leader on this team and not Kopitar. Kopitar was the team captain before and this team got nowhere. It was stripped from him and given to Brown, which they won 2 Cups with, right? I bet if the next coach who is brought in(Kings fizzle again in the 1st round, then TMac Charmin could be gone I think!) that would coach with some fire, it would be no surprise if the C was removed from Kopitar's jersey again!
 
Terrible game to watch live, felt like not much of anything happened, crowd couldn't really get into it and were docile. I will say, the officiating is f***ing HORRIBLE. Like, needs to immediately be addressed as a crisis bad. These f***ing guys can't get any calls correct anymore, they need a review system of some sort, cuz the game is way too fast for a human brain and eye's to call live.

As a die hard Caps fan, I loved Garnet Hathaway's style of play. He gets under your skin, fights, always hits hard and can score timely goals! These are the things that help you win playoff games and playoff series! This team has no playoff sandpaper type players. If the Kings don't diarrhea explode with goals, then they fold like a thin sheet of paper. Someone be a stats guy and post the Kings record in 1 goal games! My sense is it's pretty awful of a record.
