Well the Kings got smoked by Quick and Now by Volardi. Go Kings.
 
Don't worry. If PLD gets 7 points in his next game, he'll match Vilardi's scoring rate, and the trade will hurt a little less.

Or Vilardi can go scoreless for 6 straight games he'll match PLD.

This is when analytics really helps paint a picture when it showed that despite his scoring, PLD's beneficial deployment may have shown things to be misleading.

The good news, though, is that Huberdeau is showing the league "it can certainly get worse."
 
Man stop whining about PLD! He's a smaller issue but not the big issue the Kings need to fix. The team reverted back to the old Kings before they had Gavrikov. Blake might need to look to find some depth in that regard. Lack of line match-ups is a big issue. In the playoffs, if you can't coach your team with line/player match-ups, you won't get far in the playoffs. When TMac coached the Sharks to the Cup Final against the Pens, but lost, that Sharks team was loaded with talent and size. This Kings team has talent, but lacks size, toughness and grit.

While I admire your optimism It was Deboer who lead the Sharks to that final

Whining about PLD is perfectly valid considering he was the big off-season acquisition and huge haul was given up to bring him in, and then signed to a massive deal which should have made him a huge part of the core going forward, instead he's been the biggest disappointment thus far

Kings need to find some depth? Funny, because the player you don't want us to whine about and his $8.5M contract don't allow us to grab anymore depth.

The Kings gave up more acquiring Richards than they did with PLD. Let that sink in.
 
Adjustments need to be made. Since TMac doesn't do in game adjustments this break til saturday should favor the koala to come up with something :sarcasm:
