i'm honestly surprised you don't see that move more often nowadays in general, defensemen play lanes so hard on rushes, seems like the thought never even enters their brain that the shooter could just skate by them

This is the second time head-to-head that I've thought the same, he looks like early byfield, but even more strength.

I'm big on Slaf being his own player though. More power, less finesse. Like Lawson Crouse's highest possible form.

I like the kings and Byfield is fun to watch.

I want the habs to lose for now so pretty happy they are. It was just an honest comment, Byfield is great and Slaf is coming to his own too.
