Even Jim is frustrated with all the missed calls.
i think he knew right off rip, that first call he was already questioning the motivations by saying "it's gonna be a tight one tonight" or whatever

Still can't find the slash on PLD .
if there was any slash on that play it was laf on the goalie's mitt as he covered it and even that is a soft call

by the way this is the same ref that miraculously saw suzuki get "hooked" from 200ft away

Habs fan here asking you very nicely if you can just leave Byfield with us, we will treat him well :)

For real though, I'm very jealous and hoping Slafkovsky ends up similar to him
First time watching Slaf, he looks awesome so far, he will break out eventually. Byfield is just one more example of many that big guys require time to adapt.

From an outsiders point of view I think Slaf will be your best player by this time next year. His passing from the corners and behind the net are nifty. Has good pace and vision. Good size to win puck battles. Once the game slows down a bit for him hell find some scoring touch.

Byfield started the year slowly with 1 goal and no assists through the first five games of the season. Since then, he’s got 20 points in 18 games. Not too shabby, Quittin’ Bustfield.
He was very snake bitten early on, could have had over 25 points right now.
