I’d love to have him back too.

To me he’s that perfect mixture of nasty and talent.

Just one of the best defensive defensemen in the league in my eyes, and also IMO what helps enable Fox to be as good as he is.

Hindsight is always 20/20, and we had a defensive log jam for prospects, but we really should’ve dealt Zboril or Vaak instead.
I would overpay to sign Lindgren he’s that good.

I really hope Forbert and Gryz are walking . I really see no place for either on this team going forward . It may not be popular with a lot here but would like to see DeBrusk remain a Bruin. Heinen if he can be signed for around 2mil per year would be great to keep as well.
Forbort Ang Gryz walk, pay Lindgren if we can grab him wb amazing

Story book summer 24 & 25 would be:
Sid requests a trade to play with hometown buddy Marchy as both will be in their final year of their contracts. Together they put up 100+ points each and help lead the Bruins to another Stanley Cup. They sign a one year deal in 25-26 to take one last shot at the cup but more importantly, to play on a line together for Team Canada at the Olympics. They win Gold there and come back to Boston and win their 2nd straight Stanley Cup and retire in the summer.

Everyone can dream.......
I love it but some people on here would complain about trading Lysell and Merkulov for Crosby at 50% retained.

Roster thread:

Lohrei makes clueless pinches and Shattenkirk plays a 3-1 like a rookie forward, not a grizzled vet D.

The quicker we take Shattenkirk out (and replace him with Peeke) the better.

*edit: he's -3 in 9mins. Impressive!

When you go out and attempt to address a huge hole in the lineup, and the new player doesn't get to play? I hope they can coach Peeke up quickly, they desperately need him

Lohrei continues to make the same mistakes over and over, I was hoping he would be getting a little better in reading the play by know.

Can't see him dressing in the playoffs if this continues

4th line was great last night. brazeau puck protection and reach is wild. line needs a nickname. 3 J names.
get creative.
They were really good. I thought Boqvist was one of our best forwards all night.

I’m a little confused about Brazeau…never thought he was more than an AHL talent when I watched but he looks certainly capable at a higher level…can he maintain it is tbd

I also think he needs to add more to his game. His hands and vision are great but he needs a full offseason of speed training and boxing if he wants to stick around full time IMO.

Crazy to me someone at that size hasn’t added that physical part of his game yet..he would be a mainstay and crowd favorite pretty quickly here

But the majority of the HOF posters felt he should be up playing top 4 minutes instead of learning in Providence. I still believe that the kid will be a fine NHL defenseman, but why rush him when he is not ready.

The Bruins clearly wanted him there getting NHL time. With Wotherspoon playing solid third pair hockey and the addition of Peeke, I wonder if that will put Lohrei back to Providence? Either way, he should never be paired with Shatty who has really taken a downturn after his decent start to the season. Those two are a defensive horror show at times. I don't know what you do with Lohrei- clearly he is an NHL player and looks like he will end up being really good, but he has some tough times out there and that is not good for the playoffs. The issue to me seems to be that he is too slow to react to the pace of play, but where else is he going to get that experience?

Wasn't the beat on Brazeau that he has NHL hands and stick handling ability but ECHL skating?

He needs to be on the bottom pairing with Peeke getting the old Krug/McQuaid super sheltered treatment for a few years. It feels so obvious to me.

Just seems like you need to surround him with other guys that can really skate. What they have now is an ideal situation for him. Not sure if he would be as effective in a different situation.

But, he would have been top 6 in the clutch and grab era.
