Rob Ramage at the game in Kitchener tonight. Guindon was playing for Owen Sound, but for him to come in person, I have to think he was maybe getting a meet up with Kitchener’s new staff too to evaluate options for Mesar.
Just to add to your speculation, I watched the game on tv, during the intermission they had the usual Timbits game on the ice and the announcers focused on a kid who was oddly wearing a #9 Mesar jersey, considering he is not part of the team. Maybe now that he has had a taste of where he stands in the pecking order, and what he needs to work on still, he has agreed to return to Kitchener after the Laval training camp?

Might be the cameraman or the tv director going into business for himself though.

Hard to say for sur. And may be nothing, but I have to think the timing of Ramage being in Kitchener in person is not a coincidence.

And early returns are that this team will be FAR better coached than last year. Way more organized and hard working. Accountability does wonders. And a glaring need for offence.
