I wish the Ducks would get more physical and finish some of those check they seem to be on the receiving end too much this season.

He looked like ass when he came back after the hit on Saturday. Keep him out until he's completely healthy. No need to rush him back.

He was hit with the puck just below the visor line and is out tonight with facial lacerations, but fortunately no broken bones. Hayward and Ahlers did not say how long he would be out.

I've seen some theories over the years attributing more injuries to players that hit the gym hard, get all buff, etc... which supposedly makes injuries more common when they actually play the game.

that's why i mentioned the strength and conditioning team. i'm not sure if they're the ones responsible for the entire team's training program or if some of the players have their own guys, but it could very well have something to do with what they're doing in the gym/off ice

also seems like there's been quite a few instances of players returning from injury and then getting hurt again shortly after. it can't just be all bad luck

I’m totally on board with the idea that it just can’t all be bad luck. But there’s definitely something in the water at the Great Park or the Honda Center.

Remember when our old medical staff we had until, around, 2016, was on board and we only got hit once or twice a year - and that mostly to seasoned vets on their last legs?
