Injury Report: 2023-24 Injury thread (McGinn placed on IR with UBI)

Crazy…. So Tristan. You know how we said you werent good enough and we were going to send you back down after 9 games….

The team is going on a 4 game road trip and probably just want to bring another player along.

My guess is that this has more to do with one of McGinn/Killorn coming back for the trip and less about it being a serious injury for Jamie.

So that means he's available to come back for tomorrow's game? IR is only 1 week I think. Hopefully we find out tomorrow that he's a game time decision or something and they put him on IR for bringing another D just in case.
Not really versed in how all that works, I just saw it was retroactive to Oct 15. Hopefully nothing too serious and is being used like you mentioned.

IR means you’re out for 7 days. Making it retroactive is probably more of a cap thing, they were probably seeing if he could improve within a few days and when he couldn’t they used the retroactive IR thing. He could play today if able to as far as the rules are concerned.

We can still send Tristan back before his 9 games are up. LaCombe can play RD and Vaaks slots as LD with Gudas.

Fowler-LaCombe
Minchy-Gumby
Vaaks-Gudas
Hinds

Hinds can play LD or RD and is waiver exempt, but we can also bring up either White or Hagg. I think they're waiver exempt for a certain time period.
