So let me get this straight. Matthews gets a Selke nomination from the same Toronto media that didn’t think he was good enough for the MVP(Hart) nomination that the NHL players nominated him for (Lindsay) and this is considered Toronto media bias in favour of Leaf players? 😵‍💫

Thank god for HFboard Leaf hate bias or else no one would be able to follow the logic here.
Hfboards just hates Toronto.

Who the hell gave Fiala a vote?

The full voting list for the Selke is always hilarious. I don’t know why so many want to give random homer votes all the time

A Top 10 finish for Jarvis at 21 is interesting. Carolina doesn't have that many media members.

If he takes another step or two scoring wise, he might have a shot at a 2nd/3rd place finish in the future. He'd have to move to center to actually win it.

Probably because a lot of these homer beat writers don't actually watch much hockey outside of the team they cover, so they just give votes to someone they see the most.

Should have Matthews.
Well, he‘ll get the Conn Smythe then…
No, while technically eligible it will go, as usual to a player from the one of the finalists. Most often from the Cup winning team. More likely possibilities are the Lindsey or Byng.

Well deserved for Barkov.

Matthews haters hate this one trick! Vote him Top 3 for the Selke and watch the excuses flow!

Down the road nobody will care or remember who placed where beyond first place. Barkov deservedly won in a landslide. Boring Selke competition this season. It was more fun in the days of peak Kopitar and Bergeron. Hopefully next season someone steps up and challenges Barkov.
