Last year they just had names at a table.Season Ticket member question: the town hall meeting that was rescheduled from the January snowed out one is now this Monday and relocated to the Philly Live Casino... Monday is a national holiday, president's day... The Flyers have a habit of notifying on events at the last moment, and are not very generous on the details in advance.
We sent our RSVP for the original date without response... again sent one for the rescheduled THM, also without response a... since this is a weekend, and the THM is on the end of the three-day holiday weekend, we are unable to reach out to our Rep, or the Flyers... We have not received tickets, and actually are not even sure we will be needing them, as sometimes they don't use them, and go with the name at desk method... we also have zero details as to time, facility location, and parking... along with entry the method.
My question is if any season ticket members on here have any more information than I have... and if they've received any correspondence after the postponement notification; I'm not the contact of record for our account, and fear I may have possibly missed something in the process. Any information is greatly appreciated.
You can post this question in today's GDT since it will receive additional hits to this thread. Not sure if there is a better place to put this, but if anyone was at the Leafs game and wanted to sell me their Gritty Pearl Jam shirt, I would be happy to buy it off you!
Where'd you hear this and what exactly do you mean by "widening the center-ice area by a section"?Seems some seat restructuring is being made... widening the center-ice area by a section... I don't know if other reconfigurations are being made, but I assume if there's one, there probably is more. As of next season's billing, the change is not being implemented next season, based on current billing. Anyone have any information on this?
Yes, the timing is odd... could I suppose begin next Season, but hopefully it is only for the new STMs, although that too would be odd; could they grandfather the existing STM?Where'd you hear this and what exactly do you mean by "widening the center-ice area by a section"?
Edit: I see it now on the Select A Seat email. It may just be for new season ticket holders for this year? I don't see how they can change this post renewals being sent out on peCameron.
The weirdest part is the price chart on the Flyers website as of this very moment still has the 3 aside center ice sections. Not the expanded ones.Yes, the timing is odd... could I suppose begin next Season, but hopefully it is only for the new STMs, although that too would be odd; could they grandfather the existing STM?
No they do not grandfather. I knew people who had account in the front row behind the net, handed down form a charter member. When they exponentially increased the price with Ice Row, they were told to pay or move. They moved for one year, high in 101, then stopped after that year.Yes, the timing is odd... could I suppose begin next Season, but hopefully it is only for the new STMs, although that too would be odd; could they grandfather the existing STM?
I understand that they normally do not grandfather... rhetorically asked if they could grandfather based on the fact that they listed the sections at a new rate, yet have already billed the existing section at the past rate... could the difference be due to a possible grandfather policy that might be going into effect?... I do know that I'm paying the same rate in 2024-25, although if I were to attend the pick a seat event and grab a seat there (from another unaffected seaction) I'd most likely be charged the higher rate. Could it be the change will begin in 2025-26, maybe? No they do not grandfather. I knew people who had account in the front row behind the net, handed down form a charter member. Depends on the opponent but looking at the Monday schedule for the season… they’re gonna be very bare and fair with every opponent coming to town besides the Devils. How are the crowds on the Monday games?
Feel free to send me a PM and I can help you out with tickets.I'm going up to Philly in January to see the Flyers/Stars game. My daughter and I are Flyers fans, and my girlfriend and her son are Stars fans. We'll be there for a few days.
My daughter is torn on which jersey to get. She loves Brink, but thinking Michkov or TK might be a better (i.e. more likely to be here) bet. I agree haha.
Anything I should know about the WFC before buying tix? Best sections? Sections to avoid?
I'd love any recommendations for where to stay, must-see places or things to do, best place to experience my first cheesesteak... I've never been to Philly.

With regards to best sections and sections to possibly avoid, i'd just let you know that Section 122 is where Gritty's Chaos corner is. That can go either direction with what you're looking for with if that's good or bad.
With regards to things to do in the city... we used to have a visiting Philadelphia thread. Let me see if I can dig it up but i'll first ask, do you plan on having a car with you or are you going to be using ubers/public transportation?
