Ya its still a success overall. Annunen was good in his call up and "graduated", Malinski was a good call up in his short stint and may be there next year.
Malinski is more likely because he won’t be waiver exempt next year. I’m not ready to bet on Annunen and Kovalenko never going back to Loveland.

Anyone mind giving a recap on Tufte's season in the AHL?

Started off hot, then cooled down it seems like. But I'm still a bit surprised they never gave him another look at the end of the season when waivers wasn't an issue.

Did he seem to be taking his demotion ok?

It was fine, he finished second in scoring behind Brad Hunt. The team went through a bad stretch too, they were shutout 3 consecutive games in early January. He didn’t really get doghoused or anything. Bednar definitely wrote him off though. He’s a Group 6 UFA so that’s the last we’ll see of him.

He came into camp ready and with purpose, and he played well. He was torrid to start in the AHL and I wished he got called up when he was still hot. Confidence is a hell of a drug and you never know what would have happened if he kept going in the NHL. I really liked his play down low with that ability to funnel puck to the net with that reach.

Interesting to note the Grizzlies aren't moving, I naturally assumed they were cuttin' and runnin' but I suppose that process would take some time. I read their attendance was good last season so they said they're staying put...for next season at least.

Anyone got any info about the quality and depth of our Eagles team for next season, or way too early to tell?

Thinking (one's to watch):

Forwards - Wagner, Olofsson, Pavel, Kovalenko, Foudy, Ivan are the one's to keep an eye on? Defense - Hunt, Middleton, Malinski, Behrens, Jones

Am I missing anyone?

I was wondering how T.J. Tynan was doing and found out we signed him this week. Always liked his skill, but it is hard to get that playmaking role in the big league.

He’s the elite AHL player type. Tiny, doesn’t bother with defense or structure, just skate fast, cherry pick and fling the puck into the zone, bounce it off someone, puck hog on the power play and rack up assists. Exciting stuff.
