Walman has 5 points and is a -7 in 16 games since returning from injury. He’s not our clear #1.
And in that same time period which of the other 6 have even close to those stats?

Liljren has 2 and -10
Ferraro has 4 and -4
Thrun has 2 and -10
Shak has 2 and +2
Vlasic has 2 and -4 (8 games)
Thompson has 2 and -3

We are probably going back to once a week instead of once every other week soon. Little tough with Sheng being on the road and my schedule but we recognize that people like the weekly better
Appreciate that. Really been my only complaint is just never having a good feel for cadence and when to expect you all to release something.

Would still love another long form in addition to you all to add to my rotation of pods. Maybe when the team is better and games matter, I'll look for something that is a short recap/hits of the previous game, but I enjoy consuming everything as a macro level discussion on the Sharks right now (which you and Sheng do great at).

He sadly is at this moment.
He’s not. He’s playing on the top unit because he’s basically the only d-man was some offensive ability, but he’s been a waiver-wire at best player since returning from injury.

Considering Walman is basically the only D man that sees PP time, it’s even worse than I thought.

He is still the number 1 on the sharks, its just that he is the best of garbage and trash. Nobody here thinks walman is a number 1 defensemen on any other team other then a handful of bottom feeders, but he is literally 1 of only 2 right now that might have an nhl job once there time with the sharks ends.

This is very different than saying he's our Clear #1 d-man.

If it wasn't for his hot start he may be being healthy scratched on occasion.

Gavrikov just switched to Celebrini/Toffoli's agent. Left shot but has mostly played on the right side this year.

Yeah it’s a golden rule for YouTubers and podcasts to have like a day you release stuff on.

I work different days of the week/times every month plus Sheng does pretty much the same. We don’t really have the ability to say “we release on this day every week” so we just have to schedule dates every time which we can meet and discuss. Also why we end up talking for hours lol.

Actually is somewhat remarkable that the podcast is growing despite that. Celebrini and a renewed Sharks interest certainly helps

One piece of constructive feedback I'd like to offer is to try and tighten up the podcast. Sheng does 75% of the talking in the podcast already and too often, he is restating a point that he's already made. It makes the podcasts longer than they need to be. A little bit of pre-podcast planning of topics that you guys want to cover plus some bullet points of points you want to make could help in tightening it up.

Also, I think a conversational podcast is more interesting to listen to rather than one person doing most of the talking, so I wish he'd give you more space to respond to points he's made and allow for more give and take.

He'd probably be the ideal guy to get in UFA. But because of the cap going up, bet he'll have his pick of teams to choose from.
Yep absolutely. Gavrikov is a fantastic fit for this team because he can play both sides (and might even be better on the right right now) but we are not a fantastic fit for Gavrikov at all.

Also about Kunin, how is that news? “Sharks are holding on to Kunin until they get what they want for him” like no shit? Sharks are also holding on to Celebrini unless someone offers what they want for him (which would be at least 8 of the purest souls you could find and then every single future that the franchise has ever). Friedman has been getting increasingly annoying with his fence sitting. Kyle whatever his last name is is a terrible cohost for the podcast. Marek had his faults for sure but he at least tried to get Friedman to take a stance. Kyle is the definition of NPC energy.

It is news. Because typically a bad team sells their UFAs for whatever they can get. Silly to compare that to Celebrini.
