I want a good car. There's an Audi on the market, but it'll cost me a Ferrari price. I don't want that Audi.
That doesn't mean the Audi wouldn't be better than my Honda Civic. Of course it would be. And I can afford the gas and maintenance, that's no problem. I still don't want that Audi.
I also have pre-ordered a bunch of mystery cars who might turn into Ferraris or even better (or worse) in the next 3-5 years. Maybe it would be best for me to sit out this Audi bidding war.
