Ha - just came to post the same thing. Vegas actually took a 5-4 lead about 12 minutes into the 3rd but Arizona challenged the goal and it was eventually called back due to Vegas being offside. It was definitely a game of runs - Vegas scored 4 straight to take a 4-1 lead before Arizona scored 6 straight goals to win 7-4.

It was crazy- that Martinez goal that got called back initially had me thinking Vegas was pulling it together. And to give up the lead right after a timeout. Bruce’s face said it all (and we’ve seen that look a few times around here haha)

They have to be the only NHL team that goes into a “defensive shell” that somehow routinely gives up odd man rushes. It’s like there’s a timer that goes off every five minutes which requires them to suddenly only have three skaters on the ice for a shift.

I blame the defense being led by Letang and Karlsson and a terribly overrated coach in Sullivan.
