Background noise.

Finally finished re-watching the Lord of the Rings movies. I might give Rings of Power a shot, despite how bad the reviews are.
It's glorious to look at but the plot is very slow with a lots of side stories that have yet to come together.

I expected more from season one - on the fence whether I'll watch season two ( note - the Trilogy was something I read in high school and revisited a couple of years ago so Season Two will probably get a look 😊)

Perhaps the most surprising and damaging thing about the Winter Classic, beyond the gimmicky packaging, is that the game has been so horrendously one-sided. Vegas haven't looked remotely in it from the very first puck drop. The shot count may be even but their ability to pose any sort of genuine scoring threat has been nugatory. Credit to Seattle, they've read and worked out the conditions much better, and it'll make their fans happy, but it makes for a dull game. Zero heat between the two teams doesn't help either.

They took Gold in their hands with this and turned it into crap.

Macleod for Grz??? I think Grz is slightly higher on the ladder, but I like Macleod. It is a thought and worth exploring.

The Big Smoke (unfortunately)
Well Martin Jones managed to get through one period and six shots without giving-up a goal so I guess that means that he’ll be anointed as the most-recent goalie saviour for the leafs. That’s the kiss of death right there.

Lauzon crunched a Hawk and Foligno fought him. Good tilt. I want Lauzon back as a Grz replacement, he’s exactly what they need
If I were an arrogant dink I'd go back and quote my posts from summer 2021 when I suggested that Lauzon should be protected over Gryz in the expansion draft in the first place
