Depends, The Wolves are frightening and frighteningly incapable of closing out the Mav's twice.
Luca's beat up, and Cryrie chokes against the Celtics, consistently since he left.
If the Celts figure out how to keep the foot on the gas, especially since losing a Finals once with the J's, plus Hollidays leadership, I like our chances. Krispi P, isn't going to see the Semi's at this rate, so he should be healed and rested.(he seems to be good for 20 games stretches)

Kyrie is my favorite player in the NBA not on the Celtics but this is more basketball tha. He’s ever played. Lucked into a great matchup with washed up Conley.

Holiday and White will make quick work of him and Donicic.

Minnesota would have an edge inside if there is no KP but those guys aren’t joker. Tatum and Brown can’t get outplayed by Ant and McDaniels. Huge guard advantage for us.

Luka is a top 5 if not top 3 player in the world. Yes he is injured and not himself, but still he is easily MVP of the postseason so far. No one is going to make quick work of him

And Kyrie has shown repeatedly when he wants to play, he can be a beast. And he is clearly in a want to play situation in the finals , especially against Boston

Why is it he chokes against us every time since leaving. Especially in Boston where we have home court.
We beat them twice this year(138-110 and 119-110), Luca had 37 and 33(healthy), Cryrie had 23 and 17 and only 2A/game.

The Celts come to play(w/Zinger), they should win. White and Holiday will give Cryrie fits. Doncic will score at will but his help will be muted.

JMHO(it's in the numbers)

Uh he’s 1-0 in playoff series vs us since leaving what are you talking about. 2021 we were .500 and simply not good for whatever reason playing in empty arenas until the playoffs when some loser threw a water bottle at him.

Kyrie has never played this much basketball the tank is going to be empty in the finals. White and Holiday will be way too much for those two.

Not just the playoffs, regular season too. their overall record against is more W's than L's.
He's a front runner. He wanted so much to prove to the world that he didn't need LeBron, woops, that didn't work out....
I am admittedly biased, he is the quintessential headcase supreme physical talent, that folds under pressure more than succeeds(and a 1st rate jerk). He still getting by on that Championship shot with the Cav's. other than an occasional glimpse of what he could be on any given night, his career should be looked at as a disappointment. He's had some great teammates over the years and has one ring to show for it.

trust me I get why people like him, I don't, can't.

The Cs swept the Nets and Kyrie two years ago.

The Dallas matchup is horrible for them.

2 HOFers vs the 2 best defensive guards in the NBA White and Holiday.

Then Brown and Tatum (and the other Celtics)vs the rest of their roster. Probably won’t be a close game.

If the Celtics win the title and the final isn't close it won't be a good optic for the NBA having a Boston team being dominant and the best by a wide margin and they will make sure a couple of super teams emerge. Conventional wisdom says its the Lakers but I think its Dallas. Now that its a casino owner and not Marc Cuban given how much the NBA loves gambling they'll get Luka a younger and better second star than Irving. Could see Irving and Mitchell switching places.

Maybe so but the Celtics have stuggled with an outmatched Indiana team which has nothing close to the talent has. Yes the series is 3-0, but Indy should have won 2 of the games. Dallas is dramatically better than Miami, Cle, and Indy, especially in the very limited capacity those teams were in this postseason.

Now maybe the Celtics show up and play 48 hard minutes every night in the finals. Miracles to happen. Maybe then it is an easy series. But I wouldn't bet on it

Minnesota are who we thought they were. Denver were built up to be this level of team they weren't and Minnesota were perfectly built for them but a team with multiple perimeter shot creators are just feasting against them. It's why i wanted the Wolves to make it, imagine the Celtics offense forcing Kat and Gobert out to the perimeter on defense or have to give up open shots.

The Pacers have been able to get a lot of the shots they want in this series and if Nembhard and McConnell are able to do that, then Doncic and Kyrie does scare me. Dallas don't play as fast as Indiana but they're still one of the faster teams in the regular season.
