Absolutely agreed.

We need skill, and we need speed

(and size - sup Slaf)

Good skating is at the top of my prospect checklist along with skill. If a guy can't skate, he can f*** right off down the road. No skate? No draft.

Sick and tired of slow, laboring, clunky skaters. They're almost guaranteed to bust. Said it about Kotkaniemi when we drafted his bust ass.

I'll go out on a limb and say we pick Hutson at 26 to fill the void after trading Romanov. It'll bring a PMD element to our D prospects that's lacking.

I'm guessing they moved Romanov because they felt comfortable Guhle will do better than him in a similar role.
if I understand, still trying to Compute, habs got a 13 OA pick from Isles for Romanov? LOL. of course you do that. Romanov is very good, but has shown 0 offensive skill. Especially with Habs depth at young d men, this is robbery. And Dach is a great risk. Huge upside Brilliant move.

Gorton said "welp" to Hughes when Kulich got picked. Was he next in line? Lapointe was writinf on a piece of paper.
We have to wonder if they're disregarding Intel from the Habs previous scouts and going heavily into Europe because it's Bobrov's specialty.
