WJC: 2022 Team Finland roster talk

Sweden vs Finland will be a battle of who can draw the most penalties .

My prediction:
2 even strength goals for Sweden (both as a result of rebounds that Finnish defensemen just choose to ignore), one ES goal for Finland. Both teams will score 2 each on the powerplay.

Wallstedt will be the deciding factor. Meriläinen will become an Estonian expat as a result of too many pitchforks being pointed towards him even though he will only allow one softie this time as a result of Lambert turning the puck over.
I like your comments! This could actually happen!

Or... Lekkerimäki wakes up and humiliates Meriläinen, Rafkin, Nurmi, Pennanen etc even more and scores three on us 😏 Together with Edvinsson and others making it 6-1 Sweden.

Sweden vs Finland is always even games. But i think Finland wins this. I would say 3-2 or something.

Hell i would cheer for Finland in the finals. I dont want Canada to win all the time

We dont call the u20 team for Tre Kronor. Tre Kronor is the mens team. The U20 is called SmåKronorna which is transleted to Mini Crowns
Småkronorna is your U18 team, Juniorkronorna is what you call Swedish U20 team, or atleast are supposed to call it.

What? Finland and Canada have both won 3 WJC gold medals in the past decade. Finland also won the Olympics and in the WHC we've had a Finland - Canada final for 3 years in a row now where Finland won two of them.

If there's one team who morally doesn't deserve to win it's Finland .

F#ck it I'm cheering for Czechia to win it all.

Monten bad.
Monten doesn't skate or shoot the puck, Swedes had the talent to score but Finland didn't give them any chances. That was a masterclass of how to kill a game and get the result.

That was Jalonen textbook stuff, they did the necessary. Then people actually think that this is what they'd do against Canada for example, against Canada "the necessary" is much more than against Sweden. It's really tiring to see hot takes after first couple of preliminary games, people should know better after all these years. But it's the same thing next year aswell, struggle against Latvia or Slovakia and tournament is over in their heads.

Sweden struggled to score against Latvia.

Like i said couple weeks ago, keep calm and trust the coach. And i would add "trust the system" & "trust the progress" to the list.

Pennanen is a proven winner, this whole witch hunt has been ridiculous. Just like Ahokas/Luukkonen in 2019, except it's reversed this time. Now we have to wait and see if the result is same as it was in 2019.

SUOMI!
