Am sort of happy with 2, but also at the same time not really intrigued with anyone outside of Wright.

Um... go on the draft boards. The Devils two biggest needs will be available at #2 -- a potential franchise RD in Jiricek and a potential franchise-caliber power F in LW Slafkovsky.

Ya no interest in Fiala anymore.

Also no interest in Jiricek though. Slafkovsky all day. He’s the perfect pick and should be a really good player and fit.
I’m not sold on Jiricek and have some concerns.

Would've liked #1 mostly because I think Arizona would've given up a nice amount to get Wright, but hey, can't complain.

I was getting my heart all set on Jiricek, but for those who'd know better than I do, is Slaf the way to go?

Slafkovsky is the better prospect and the way to go. Some people on here like him and are pushing for him a bit because he’s a big RD with good potential but Slafkovsky is by all means the better prospect and I can’t imagine us passing on him.
