It looks like the next 2 spots are between Chibrikov and Chisholm. I'm a little surprised that Chibrikov would fall 4 spots, but the Jets did add 2 good players at the draft, and I understand the excitement of defensemen who are closer to making the show than he is.

That said I went lone wolf with Torgersson. I am really high on this kid. I think he's the type of power forward that the Jets have been looking for. I was disappointed that someone in management iced him for the Calder playoffs over guys that aren't here anymore, because he made an immediate impact. I think he's going to climb the ladder quick in our system, his game is suited for North America.

I think at least at the AHL level that coaches tend to go with the guys that got them to the playoffs. I agree on Torgersson, though. I really like his potential.

Oh, yes, also, please, if you could, I’d say, add Gawanke, thanks.

I'll go with Chisholm but after I've finished my coffee I could easily switch to Chibrikov.

Time to add a G to the mix. Add Salminen.

It is weird how the guy who's probably going to C our 4th line is close to falling out of the top 10 prospects...
Speaks to a talent infusion, and Gustafsson is plateauing as a 4th line centre right now, hopefully good on the PK like he was on the Moose. Realistically at forward, if you go by potential, Chibrikov, Rashevksy, Torgersson, Barron and Zhilkin all have higher ceilings for where they play in the lineup. But Gustafsson is in his last season as a prospect, so he's achieved the goal.

Let’s not write him off just yet of not being a capable third liner. He’s still young.

He plays a smart game, I notice that you find him in front of the net on a lot of goals. I just think those other guys have more potential. Barron made a bit of a statement in the AHL playoffs, that should also carry some weight, like it does for Chisholm.

All three are great to have in the mix. I like all three and hope some can have long careers.

You explained Torgersson more than Gustafsson here. 95% of Torgersson's goals are crease crashers, which is a skill in itself, but Gustafsson has a lot of different ways that he scores, including a very whippy wrister. Gustafsson has a lot more offensive (and obviously defensive) upside than Torgersson in my mind.

Except Perfetti is still ranked #1...
First time Perfetti has dealt with an extended injury, including the year prior in the AHL and in his OHL career, versus Gustafsson who has always dealt with injuries and suffered two significant ones in 4:56 of NHL ice time last season.
