So like yesterday lol

Pencilling him in at 4th line center is so dumb. Try him on a wing and just tell him to fly around and be annoying. Raymond will find him and the confidence will come. The wings have been so bad, and he's one of the only guys that looks like he gives a shit. Veleno can play 4th line center for a game or two and try that out

Honestly you can put any vet at 4th line enter at this point..who cares..it's not a role/position that matters whatsoever anymore this season...heck put Motte there

No points in 10. So when are we allowed to say that just maybe, all this “limited upside talk” might be true?
He looked pretty good to me last night. My girlfriend who doesn’t know much about hockey even made a comment how #92 seemed to be one of the better skaters on the ice all night.

He is a high motor player. He will figure it out offensively in due time.

The only mistake this team can make with this player is stapling him on the fourth line. He needs to be playing in a scoring role for him to properly develop. Otherwise he will end up being a potential wasted Talent; just like Joe Veleno is being stapled as a 4C.

The 2022 draft has nobody who was a better pick at 8 and even if the guys taken ahead of him only Cooley is significantly better

Just a weak draft so far. Kasper will be a good 2/3C tweener as expected

His motor seems neverending. As much as I'm excited to see his offense begin to flourish, I'm even more so excited to see that really annoying and hard to play against pesky Marchand/Callahan type player he was in the SHL.

I've been saying this for the last few weeks. Throw him on the top line, I mean what could possibly be any worse than what this team has done recently?
speaking of marchand, he only put up 1 point in 20 games, and that was in his d+4. anyone trying to shape a narrative about his offensive potential based are his rookie season clearly has an agenda

Unless a young guy is an elite prospect few put up numbers in the NHL playing center in their rookie year. If he were playing wing I'd be more concerned but he isn't. He is largely being used as a 2/3 center with very one dimensional linemates, which puts even more pressure on him to be the 1st man back.

There is a reason most forwards are brought in and played on wing early in their careers even if teams plan for them to be centers later on.

We have two guys on this team that are offensive line drivers and he is playing with neither.

I don't think he is ever going to be a driver offensively but I think he can compliment one really well, while reamining elite defensively.

yeah I wasn't a fan of not trying for higher upside with that pick but certainly nothing to be particularly upset with missing out on there so far

we'll see if that changes, there might still be a high end player or two that went in that like 9-15 or so range when it's all said and done
