I believe the NCAA would kick him out if he signed a professional contract. So we have to wait until his season is over.

He could sign whenever but would have to leave State. No reason to leave the number 1 or 2 team in the country. Spartans should be a Frozen Four team so Howard & the boys should go on a deep run, then he'll sign once State is done.

Cannot wait to see if Howard works better with Kucherov & Point or with Hagel & Cirelli, Regardless, should be able to finish on 20 a year pretty easily if he just gets in the right spots, which he seems to have done at the NTDP & at State

The Leafs signed Knies right before their playoff series with us and he was a big factor. If the coaches and front office think Howard is NHL ready I see no reason not to sign him for a playoff run. Would much rather run him out there than 11/7 with Perbix against good teams.
