What’s crazy about all of the Kings sudden implosion is that they can’t even do any volume shooting.
 
What's with former Kings playing on the left defence side of our recent opponents? (5 out of 6 now.)
 
I would just like to see the Kings compete against the Avs. Asking for a win is a stretch considering how they are recently playing.
 
Big needed bounce back game against rd.1 and rd. 2 potential opponent.

Big opportunity for Cops to keep up his very solid play from the last 2 games and make his case for game 1 starter instead of a stumbling Korpi.

Regrdless of outcome, I give Korpi the start on Monday for his last chance to show he has it together.

Depending on what the pending playoff schedule, I lean towards the game 1 backup vs the Ducks on Thurs.
 
im not kidding DO NOT question todd! its not funny!! hes trying his best and this team is the best and he deserves all of our praise!!!!! bjornfot actually sucks and shouldnt be playing (unless todd says he should in which case bjornfot rules)

Hoping for a win, feels like we need to stop the bleeding. I don’t want to just limp into the playoffs.

Feel like Im the only one that really likes Bjornfot.
He was skating well last game. Was he even on the ice for any of the Vegas goals?
On a different team with a good opportunity he would have a breakout similar to Valimaki and Sandin.

Colorado has a good chance at #1 in the Central , they should be playing all out, LA is pretty much #3 in the Pacific, So watch it be 6-2 LA because why not.

wasn't on ice for any of them and was stapled to doughty for like 30 minutes of that game. totally fine defenseman.

on one hand i'm like "ok maybe he just wants to get spence in" but it's like, why isn't walker sitting then? guess he's just horrified of playing 2 young guys while simultaneously giving durzi free reign to absolutely punish the team.. i get that durzi PKs and runs the 2nd unit but christ he sucked against vegas

Yup hopefully that is it and Tmac thinks Bjo is ok.
I also thought he was.
Regardless , he will be resigned and on the Kings as a LD next season or if needed sooner.

Gosh no. I just made a Tierlist for how we rate our defensemen overall. Yes, Doughty could be dropped a tier but I feel we could call him our best defensemen overall and thus S tier.

I'll break it down though.

S- Doughty. Our top guy. Minute muncher. Plays in all positions.

A - Roy and Mikey Anderson. No real flaws with these two.

B - Spence and Gavrikov. Majority of posters pissed that Todd plays favorites over the players who gives the best chance to win.

C - Bjornfot. Plays solid. Has flaws - which many will joke is a coach who plays favorites with players who will not be with the team the following year. We had this exact issue in the playoff against Edmonton last year.

D - Sean Walker. He is a serviceable bottom pairing defenseman who should have been moved last offseason. Now, we hope him to be moved this offseason.

E - Nobody.

F - Sean Durzi and Alex Edler. You will witness a collection of excitement on this board when Edler is let go. Most posters hope for any decent trade value from Durzi to collect draft capital from the trades to acquire Fiala, Gavrikov, and Korpisalo.
