Edmonton's final 7 games Current 95 points

Thu Mar 30 vs LA
Sat Apr 1 vs Ana
Tue Apr 4 @ LA
Wed Apr 5 @ Ana ( previous game for Ana Sun @ Calgary )
Sat Apr 8 @ SJ
Tue Apr 11 @ Colorado
Thu Apr 13 vs SJ

so only 3 vs PO bound teams and 1 trap game vs the ducks
They should do no worst than 4-3(I expect 5-2) LA needs to win this or at least get a OT point.

LA final 8 Current 96

Thu Mar 30 @ Edmn
Sat Apr 1 @ Seattle
Sun Apr 2 @ Van ( previous game for Van Fri vs Calgary )
Tue Apr 4 vs Edmn
Thu Apr 6 @ Vegas
Sat Apr 8 vs Colorado
Mon Apr 10 vs Van
Thu Apr 13 @ Ana

If Edmn gets 10 points ( very doable ) LA need to go 5-3, so wins against Van x2, Ana, Seattle and 1 more vs one of Edmn x2 , Vegas, or Colorado, that's a tough schedule.

Las Vegas final 8 Current 98

Thu Mar 30 @ SJ
Sat Apr 1 vs Minn
Mon Apr 1 @ Minn
Tue Apr 4 @ Nash
Thu Apr 6 vs LA
Sat Apr 8 @ Dallas
Tue Apr 11 vs Seattle
Thu Apr 13 @ Seattle

If Edmonton gets 10 more points for 105 Vegas needs 4 wins,( or 8 points) giving them SJ but the rest are vs PO hopeful teams (Nashville needs to win so should be a rough match up) Vegas might be 2nd or 3rd in the Pacific at seasons end.

Two of the best games they've played all year have been against Edmonton: the first one in Edmonton where they blocked a ton of shots and then the one in LA with multiple fights and the Kings actually looking like a team that cares about each other.

I still think this team is soft but those two games have been heartening since they treat Edmonton as one should treat a rival. With a high probability of meeting in the first round, this game and the one next Tuesday here in LA would be bloodbaths in the old NHL: I am very interested to see if Edmonton looks to send messages tonight.

Good luck Kings fans! I don’t hate the Kings and would like to see them go far (few teams play by commission the way the Kings do and it’s very impressive). But it seems we are destined to meet once again at full health and in what I’m sure will end up being pure chaos so here ends the kind words!

Welp, playoff preview, or meaningless regular season game, either way, just get the two points and keep trying to take 1st place. GKG!

The oilers fans beef with Mikey grazing their stars while their stars make dirty plays all the time and they continuously act oblivious to it is hilarious.

It is pretty funny to think about if you knew or saw Mikey play for any real length of time. They are literally the only fanbase that gives him a second thought. Every single other fanbase says: "who?", "overrated", or "overpaid".

The world in which Mikey is the dirtiest player in the NHL while Nurse's headbutt gets glazed over or "Danault deserved it" is basically the dividing line I use to decide which Oilers fans are worth interacting with.

Pretty much. Everyone has some tint to their glasses when watching their own team, but there's something about denial for the Oilers that irritates me a little more given just how cheap some of them act regularly. At least own it or admit to it and say f*** you to the other team for doing whatever they are doing, but to turn a blind eye makes me feel like I am speaking with Canuck fans during the diving days and they are like: "What diving? That was a legitimate penalty. Whatever, everybody and every team dives."

Most annoying fanbase in the league. Never seen such crybabies and hypocritical fans.

To be fair, they have been on a rollercoaster the last few decades with the excitement and hope of drafting 1st overall like a dozen times to watch it all go to hell over and over due to some of the worst mismanagement in the league, leading to many years of mediocrity and stagnation. Oilers and Kings fans alike know the feeling of having and watching the best player in the world stagnate on a team that fails to be competitive or capable of winning.

It's definitely gotta suck on some level desperately clinging to the hope that they can at least do something with possibly the best player ever only to know deep down the dread of the likeliness of seeing it all go to waste and them going cupless and McDavid leaving your ass, or retiring with that black mark.

Though I think Ekholm was the first sane maneuver I've seen them make in a long while though. So maybe they learned that they don't have to win every game 8-7. If I were them, I would have traded Crysaitl for an elite defender and goaltender years ago.

FYI this game is on Bally Sports So Cal and not Bally Sports West because of the Angels opening game

Welp, no Fiala tonight. And no Vilardi. So there goes our 3rd line....

Really hope those guys are healthy for the playoffs because thats one of the things that allows us to tip the scales, our depth...

Same shit as last year...just absolutely cursed down the stretch

A piece of me is okay with that, just out of fear that Edmonton could target players like them to take them out before the playoffs. It also keeps them guessing if they haven't faced them in a while before the playoffs as well.

Happened to Moore too. Came back from injury for like a game or two then went back out due to injury. Seems like they're rushing guys back in too early

Well its clearly obvious now that they rushed Fiala and Vilardi back earlier than they should've. Can't do that at this time of year, if they weren't sure than they should've taken another game or 2 off.

Did he skate the whole third, I wonder if we missed something with the line blender we did last game.
