Reality check for the Kings. We are not going to score 5-7 goals a night in the playoffs, especially on the road. Need bigger bodies to grind out games. Smaller players will get wrecked. Still work todo but at least the goaltending should be fine. Off season got to get bigger if we are serious about contending.

Not having Fiala, Vilardi, CLARKE...and a non-finishing Byfield, is such a detriment to the offense.

I havent watched the Reign much.. does Helenius have any nasty in him? i know he's got the size in excess which is good

I think team physicality is this teams biggest weakness. They get pushed around to much and there is no one to stand up to it. This is a reflection of the HC the Kings have. Why they traded for Mcqwen is a big question mark. TM doesn't even play him. What 3 minutes in this game.

Obviously not happy we're losing but, considering we're only down a goal and the play has been pretty much even I can't really complain especially since we're missing Fiala and Vilardi while also getting our #2 D knocked out literally a minute in. The Oilers are very much the same team, need a lethal powerplay to cover up for an otherwise very mediocre team.

Agreed but your top 2 lines need to produce first. Scoring one goal (Durzi) in almost 2 games is not a good sign. Bottom 6 is where we are missing the right pieces right now.

I'm waiting for that Oiler fan that keeps posting the laughing emoji.

Byfield has been better but let’s be real, Stutzle and his 37 goals would be a real nice player at the moment.

Byfield has been very good. Growth in all areas and play, positionally, boards, handling the puck, seeing the ice, making great passes, being physical...except burrying a few. He had 9 in 16 games with the Reign. Very good, as he must have had more confidence.
