I know the underlying stories the media will focus on - Quick's career with both storied franchises and Gavrikov and Korpi facing their old team, but what's lost in the shuffle is the return of the first-round pick to crypto.com. Will Jarmo run into the Kings box waving a piece of paper that says "Los Angeles First Round Pick 2023" in Blake's face? Will it cause a scrum? Will security get involved? Potential podcast material, imo.

And what if Jarmo has too many drinks with Luc tonight and leaves that piece of paper in LA. Then on draft day, we see Blake walking up to the podium with said paper when Bettman asks for the 32nd selection in the draft. Jarmo acts surprised Pikachu and Blake says finders keepers as he selects a mountain of a man, like Bill Braski, to anchor the Kings (pick a position) for years to come.

you knew the minute he assisted on the goal he was going to be in tonight and doesn't it seem wrong he isn't starting korpi against his old team

Not really, his old team probably has a better book on beating Korpi than anyone.
I think we lost to these guys early in the year and I was disgusted.
Quick was in net.
He is playing way better in Vegas.
I think the Kings stuck by him as much as they could and he had little room to have any kind of grudge or blaming others to affect his play.

I heard that the new arena nickname was because Edler would be on the ice and nothing to do with any licensing agreements.

Gotta admit, he moves around and takes the body well for an undead.

Is it true a racoon could take out a koala? Get on it if so. Im sure Spence doesnt mind the bump in pay. But how you play Edler over Spence when you need a guy to replace Durzi on PP2 is beyond me. Apparently Walker is quite capable as a PP QB - said no one ever.
 
Don't we have people on the boards that can ask the question about Spence. He clearly had a great game then was pulled. What's the logic?

At the very least it seems you'd want to try out Spence in a few consecutive games to see what he's picked up over a season in Ontario.. Im not sure how you feel good about going into playoff series with Edler and Walker as your stalwart 3rd pairing. Every icing in Edmonton would probably lead to a goal against with them out there.
 
seeing that blue jackets roster laid out like that really puts perspective on how brutal that team is

that's a list of "who?"s on par with arizona
