A broken finger there would have been devastating. Hopefully, he doesn't have any swelling that will mess with his play, but man I've been impressed with him lately.

As if he needs to impress anyone, but I wasn't expecting him to turn it on as the season went on. He's been as consistent as he ever has been and is pressing towards PPG even though he was double digits off 20-30 games ago. He's been still as dominant as ever on defense, and I think he is reaching a new level of leadership many didn't think was possible out of him. I get the sense that he is in command and has the presence to guide this team to success.

His mentorship to Byfield is very noticeable. His value to the franchise currently is immeasurable. Couldn't be happier with his performance right now all things considered.

Yup, this confirms what my eyes are seeing..
That second line is shit…
Danault has been slumping for at least a handful of games and Arvidsson is as jittery as ever. I think you can tell Fiala's frustration a little as I see him trying to do it all himself a little more whereas he was passing more with the likes of Lizotte. I am sure they will get going and rebound, not sure if Danault is injured but I wouldn't be surprised, but I am also not sure the chemistry is there and Fiala might be better served on the third line again. It sounds like Moore is returning very soon according to Blake and TMac so this will be addressed soon in a sense.

Right now he looks like he did during his MVP candidate season. Maybe I'm crazy, but I feel like I see more passion in him right now than I have seen in a long time. I think Byfield has really rejuvenated him, and the addition of Fiala has taken some pressure off of him. He doesn't look like he is slowing down any time soon, and is aging like fine wine.

Liked the new guys game. Love the reach.

The guy hasn’t played in almost 2 weeks and is learning a new system overnight. I thought he made a great debut.

His game was just like his interview personality, very thoughtful and calm

I was dying at the Stoll and Patty postgame with Byfield, sounds like he must have gotten trashed in NYC or something

Also that Korpi looked good at practice "because he was stopping a lot of my shots, but I guess a lot of goalies are doing that lately"

Like that they gritted their way through that one, was close to being, and would have been easy to be, a letdown game after that emotional comeback in WPG and the Quick trade as well as coming home to face a prepared team. A lot of guys were really fighting it tonight, especially Fiala and Kaliyev, but at least they didn't let that stop them from working.
