This last 20ish games is the best Kopitar has looked since his mvp(type) season.

2 points in spite of bad goaltending. 3 of the goals could have been stopped. Maybe that was the last straw for Blake to pull the trigger on the trade.

Everyone wants to pick on players and it seems like Danaults play has gone unnoticed. He looked like prime Mike Richards last year and put the team on his back a lot of nights. This year hes pretty invisible. That contract may not age well.

Plays defense, great in the dot and on pace for 20 goals and 60 points.

I do agree, he was better last year.

Yes and no. He is finally taking over a lot of the C heavy lifting and I have no doubt a fresher Kopitar is the primary beneficiary.

I have espn+ here in Brazil and I can watch almost every NHL game but I can’t choose the stream, I’ve seen some lousy broadcasting but nothing compares to those losers
