You asked if they would make the playoffs and I said yes. I didn't "cope" and say they were a great team and would win the cup.
 
Edler is on both Blake and TM. The decision to bring this guy back is right up there as one of Blake’s worst moves as GM. It made no sense at the time and it’s been worse than anyone could have imagined, he simply is nowhere close to an NHL caliber player in 2023.

But assuming TM has autonomy over the lineup decisions he shares much of the blame too. How do you watch this guy play and continue to send him out there?

Honestly, imagine you start Quick to pay homage to Quick when he’s completely washed and you’re setting him up to get embarrassed, then once he naturally gets lit up you embarrass him even more by pulling him.


There’s no logic to it.

No you said they have playoff worthy defense and goaltending to which I said they have the worst goal differential in the west which indicates what we’re seeing. They bleed goals like crazy. There’s nothing playoff worthy about the Kings except their offense.

Edler f*** up isn't even that big of a deal since he was at the league minium, but it's the constant keeping him in the lineup when he's sucking ass while bjornfot is riding the pine. If Blake doesn't get an upgrade lhd at the deadline he should br fired into the sun with TM

But they'll still make the playoffs. So yeah their defense and goaltending suck but as an overall team, they will still be in the playoffs. I never said they had great defense or goaltending.

It’s completely f***ing unacceptable. It’s not even about the loss on a roadie vs a really good team which is how it will be minimized. It’s about the “how” like it was vs NJ the other night.


Completely mismanaged and miscoached against a team who was trying to hand this one over just so they can make a trade. 5-2! It’s not even close. Losing to 2/3 of a roster. Edit: AND. Gifted major power play. Gutless effort.

Thanks for reminding me. We have Bjornfot Spence and Clarke riding pine while Edler Durzi and Walker leak more than the Titanic

If the cap goes up and he goes to the third line and goes back to focusing solely on being a shutdown center it'll be a little easier to stomach. That's of course only if a single one of their drafted centers can actually make it as a center

Yeah they might make the playoffs but they’re far from being a playoff team.
