Of the numbers retired by the Kings he's the most famous player to play for the Kings and the NHL.Why would Gretzky be involved?
A simple congratulations would be nice.

Unless I missed it, pretty odd not to see anything from Justin Williams in the ceremony. Same for Wayne Gretzky.
Why would Gretzky be involved?
That was my first thoughtjesus i know the lighting is bad in that tunnel but luc looks like absolute death
Yeah, it would make about as much sense. This was Brown's night. Gretzky is old news, and he never won jack in LA. In terms of hockey, LA belongs to the LA Kings team circa 2011-12 through 2013-14.I can’t believe they didn’t bring Avery back.
Sorry, I don't give a chit about Wayne Gretzky.Of the numbers retired by the Kings he's the most famous player to play for the Kings and the NHL.

$20 in 2003? Shoulda parked on Grand for like $10.Brownie paid for parking his first King game he played. What better way to bond with fans!
Don’t care about Gretzky but I am surprised that Lombardi, Mitchell, Williams and to a lesser degree Richards weren’t involved in some way. Not like they have anything better to do either. Why would Gretzky be involved?
...is the game starting soon?
8:18 pm plus +/- a few minutes.
