I mean Boldy was already a better player than Lizotte and JAD could ever hope to be but I get your point

Fiala NEEDS to be the guy on his line, even the assists he piles on are terrific individual plays. You don't want him deferring, you want talent around him that can capitalize without needing the puck - that will rule out a lot of top liners.

Its not as though he can't play on the first line, its that if you already have a first line Fiala is a hell of an asset to fill out the offense AND break kids in who can get away with a bit more watching the puck.

Besides, Lizotte is criminally underrated among Kings fans.

And now that JAD has his goals and maybe Fox will start highlighting all the good little plays he makes so that the ham and egger fans will see just how good he could be as a bottom sixer. Once JAD gets some veteran panache he is going to be an extremely reliable role player.
