That's interesting, is this JFresh or Dom? I'm surprised because Roy has the worst CF%, SF%, xGF%, GF%, SCF% and 2nd worst HDCF%(among regular defencemen). Roy does have a higher P/60, so maybe that is driving this value chart.

Byfield looks pretty darn good tonight though!

He had a good first period last game also then fizzled out as the game went on.
If he can bring that pace for a full 60 minutes then thats another dynamic element added to the offense and theyd really be cooking with grease.
If he can keep that up the scoring will come.

I don't have a subscription to the athletic unfortunately, but I'm surprised by the results because Dom is usually heavily influenced by possession and expected goals.

Fiala is seriously just toying with opponents at times. He's just a treat to watch.

Doubty main problem is he rarely passes out of the zone to a fwd with speed or skate out of the zone w speed finding a targe.. Usually its circling back followed by flatted footed passes to forwards that arent moving most of the time. He tends to hold the puck shake off the forecheck but it forces everyone to come back to help him out like a QB who scrambles around.
