With a win tonight, the Kings' regular season record in the 2022 calendar year would be 51-27-12 in 90 games, or a 104 point pace over 82 games. They've also scored 284 goals and given up 284 goals! A win in regulation or overtime tonight would give LA a positive goal differential for the year.

I wonder if one of these Flyers defensemen will be made available. Provorov and Sanheim are interesting, but I've really liked Cam York since his draft year. Was hoping he would fall to us wher we drafted Bjornfot.

Sanheim just signed an 8 year deal in Oct. Provorov has $17m in cash coming to him on a $6.75m cap hit in the next 2 years. I'd guess neither guy is going too far.

Danault has been paying dividends. Such a smart signing. He is the stabilizer on both ways of the ice. He deserves Selke consideration. He's had some iffy games here or there but has mostly been a rock for the Kings.

I am absolutely amazed this team is over .600 with: an atrocious pk, awful goaltending and horrible at clearing their zone. Hockey gods are certainly smiling on this team.
