Well, through 35 games last season, the Kings were 17-13-5. We're currently 18-12-5. At this point last year, we had 97 goals for and 93 goals against. This year, we have 116 goals for and 123 goals against! That's 49 more total goals this season than last season. It might not be good for our health, but it's a lot more exciting.

So are you admitting that he'd lost the room?
Definitely. I think it’s way too early to say that Todd has found anything other than maybe a branch to chew on. If the Kings start winning against good teams in our conference then that will be a much better indicator. The sharks and ducks are light work. Being better than them is expected.

and just who is going to be defending? That team is starting to look like the oilers, drafting all skilled forwards, not a lot on the backend.
Well yeah their defense is going to be trash but just the thought of getting a player like Bedard to go along with Zegras and McTavish is pretty scary.

He's sticking with Copley good call there.. He got Spence playing vs Walker.. good call there too. Have to credit him when he makes the rare good decisions.

I'm convinced he has an account on this site. He must have been reading our threads. LOL.

Oilers went pretty far with Draisaitl and McDavid.

remember all the number one picks before them? Everyone said how " scary good " they'd be? 1 good playoff run in 10 years. No goaltending either.

Buffalo will get the top pick, the Ducks will go second, just like the Crosby draft.

Strong win. The next game against the Flames and former Kings coach Sutter will be a litmus test.

Oilers management thinks they can repeat their Cup winning days from the 80's. Their defense is terrible($9.5 million given to Nurse is laughable) and they go about it wrong trying to find their next Grant Fuhr.

Great win. Credit to coaches and players for preparation and execution.

Now if the Kings treated more teams like they treated the Ducks tonight, that is an indicator of a great team. But they were at least great tonight.
Every team in the league has treated the Ducks with the same disrespect we gave them tonight, they have two regulation wins on the season 😂

I'd feel bad except they're losing on purpose to secure the Bedard bag, and the worst case scenario is what, Fantilli or Michkov? This is a really deep draft for forwards and a great year to suck.

Shut those two down, or even frustrate them enough and your odds are pretty high to win. I like our make up going forward way better.

Very nice complete game vs. an opponent they should speedbag. That's encouraging.

Bring that same performance on Thursday vs. Calgary when it matters more and I'll be a lot more positive. Tonight barely atones for the dog shit we've had to endure the last couple of weeks. The Ducks don't WANT to win.

Loved Vatrano having front row seats to the GWG and Fiala's butchering. Kevin is a better human than me, I would have asked him if he wanted an autograph.

I guess all in all it was nice to see an actual response to bad reffing and rough play as well as untimely goal against with a pushback instead of a folding.

The Ducks have a few great defensive prospects. Drysdale, Zellweger, Helleson, Mintyukov, Hinds. They probably have a top five defensive prospect pool right now.
And they also have LaCombe who's a decent prospect as well.

We've heard that before when they were actually good. Fowler is the only one left of that lot.

Every time Zebras gets put on his ass an angel gets their wings.

Mikey with the Kronwall!!! Needs to bulk up a bit.

Play of the game goes to Spence. Going to retrieve puck from the corner. Takes a glance to see where the play is, spots Kopi. Gets puck, heads up, ripps pass to hit Kopitar in stride as he TURNS UP ICE!!!! Kopitar is still skating backwards. Pass is off by a good 20 feet.

Did you guys notice! They had transition & speed tonight!

Poor Klingberg wants to score so bad to get traded to a better team.
