I think Boston’s point total this season way overshot how good of a team they were.

Don’t get me wrong they were good. But their exceptional goaltending and finishing was unlikely to continue at nearly that pace. Florida was just as good at chance differential at 5v5 this season, for instance. They were much more evenly matched than the 2010 Capitals vs. Canadiens, for instance.

Another 3-1 series lead blown. Just like that 3-0 series lead to Philly.
