Not a fan of Esposito's legacy in NY. It's almost as if he hated the Rangers and tried to ruin them from within.

As GM, Espo was a bit of a lunatic.
But those damn jerseys were all John Ferguson's doing
He loved them so much, he resurected the concept with his 1st generation Winnipeg Jets

I think the Reverse Retros were the epitome of laziness. Can prolly count a small handful of worthy jerseys and the rest were either a lazy rehash or make no absolute sense (like Nordiques in Avs colorway)

Well, my biggest issue is that there was nothing "reverse" about our jersey.

This organisation is too afraid to take risks. They'll always go with the easy way out as to not offend people by wearing red (because fans will complain it's Devils colours), a rangers logo on the jersey (boomers will cry it reminds them of Esposito) etc.

The worst are Fans who cry that the Rangers should wear their normal home and road jerseys as if these alternate jerseys are replacing them. Mind numbingly stupid arguments like that are the reason this org never tries anything new.

Loved the off-white winter classic sweater

Would like to see a play on that jersey with red.

Its not like the color is foreign to the color scheme we have now.

Red stripes and red pants.

Reverse the scheme with the winter classic emblem on the chest

Even though Philly is the real home of train graffiti, I always thought we did it better here. Would be cool if they made something that reflected 'streets of New York' more and took an interesting chance. Though, we're the rangers and have to be classy always while still making ugly 3rd jersey choices somehow.

The tiny Liberty crest 'reverse retro's' last time were so ugly.
 
Rangers aren't the "redshirts". Not a fan of a red jersey for the Rangers. Not a fan of honoring rivals. Not a fan of tacky jerseys for the Rangers.

There's a lot that can be done while remaining loyal to their heritage.

Personally a fan of the 53-67 logo and think they can do something based on that. With the darker blue and off white. Something classy and timeless.

I'd be in favor of the 1927 look. Rangers in Red with no white outline on dark blue. Simple, thinner single color lettering. I'd get rid of the red/white stripes on the arms and waist and instead put a white rectangular patch on the left shoulder and write "c. 1926" in red inside of it. Basic numbers to match. I'd love just a more simplified classic look that feels vintage from 100 years ago. Especially cause we're headed towards the 100th anniversary.

Something about the current use of stripes and the outlining of the letters is feeling dated and not in a good way. I don't really care for the liberty logo either. I've liked the color schemes that have come with the liberty attempts, but the logo is whatever.

I'd also make a special sock that has almost no blue. I'd go mostly white/cream with big blocky red stripe in the calf and a very, very thin blue outline around the red stripe. Also, with this more simplified look, I might keep the Cs and As in simple red, but place the letters inside a circular white/cream patch.
 
I want a white base, royal pinstripes, rangers current shield logo upper left (ala LABurgerK, Yankees). and pinstriped socks. Blue helmet, blue pants shell. minimal striping around lower jersey, wrists.

Probably just new Fanatics merch. They showed off a few different sweatshirts already on Twitter.
