Thats kinda scary. Not great at a few passing components. Puck battles I'm not sure he's 90% but battles won % at 42% so I assume he goes in the traffic a lot but doesn't win a ton of battles?

I know he's a 7th rounder, but whats the possibility here? A PP specialist good at carryimg the puck and shooting - useless physically?

Hadn't heard anything about this guy before we picked him but I like it from a quick look at his stats and some scouting profiles. Interesting pick, maybe we're looking at our 3RD + PP2 guy in 3 years when Wideman's gone.

I remember in an interview hearing that Martin Lapointe had spoken to Tourigny months ago letting him know they are really interested in him.

He could have been sign next week for free. I guess Lapointe list was empty.

There were 9 picks after the Habs, so you never know if Tourigny was going to be taken by one of those teams. And you end up not having him for free.

Bouhou. They were not that afraid to take the glorious Petteri Nurmi before him.

It's more bouhou for you actually since you're the one complaining they took him.

And yes, they took Nurmi before because they clearly valued him more.

I don't know why you're complaining about a 7th round pick.

Meanwhile Logan Morrison is not drafted and Caroline takes Pelevin a real prospect. I don't complain I just state the evidence Lapointe is clueless. I would have been happy for the kid if we didn't screwed everything else before.

Tourigny is going to hit the waiver before he able to establish him self in the NHL… I understand the reason behind the pick I just don’t think it was the right strategy…

He's small.

After all the years of the French Canadian media complaining about Montreal missing out on guys like Gourde, don't expect Montreal to use their late picks for anything else.
