Carrying that mediocre Armada offenseI was thinking the same thing.
What's up with 4% passing?

Teams draft these guys in the 7th now so they can't choose where they sign. Habs have been doing it for a while but Tampa used to get every single good undrafted player so teams started using 7ths to get in on the action. He could have been sign next week for free. I guess Lapointe list was empty.

His agent said he had nothing more to learn in the Q and some European teams are interestedI assume he will be back in the Q as 20YO next year. Same as the RHP/Simmoneau plan?
He's in the 4th percentile in passing completion. He completes only 83% of his passes. What's up with 4% passing?
I forgot that it was a percentile. Still, that is worrisome, in an otherwise promising player. (factoring in that he's picked that late). He's in the 4th percentile in passing completion. He completes only 83% of his passes.
Bouhou. They were not that afraid to take the glorious Petteri Nurmi before him.I remember in an interview hearing that Martin Lapointe had spoken to Tourigny months ago letting him know they are really interested in him.
There were 9 picks after the Habs, so you never know if Tourigny was going to be taken by one of those teams. And you end up not having him for free.

It's more bouhou for you actually since you're the one complaining they took him.
And yes, they took Nurmi before because they clearly valued him more.
I don't know why you're complaining about a 7th round pick.
Meanwhile Logan Morrison is not drafted and Caroline takes Pelevin a real prospect. I don't complain I just state the evidence Lapointe is clueless. I would have been happy for the kid if we didn't screwed everything else before.
Tourigny is going to hit the waiver before he able to establish him self in the NHL… I understand the reason behind the pick I just don’t think it was the right strategy…I remember in an interview hearing that Martin Lapointe had spoken to Tourigny months ago letting him know they are really interested in him.

We just drafter TWO 5'8" D today ...
Thats kinda scary. Not great at a few passing components. Puck battles I'm not sure he's 90% but battles won % at 42% so I assume he goes in the traffic a lot but doesn't win a ton of battles?
I know he's a 7th rounder, but whats the possibility here? A PP specialist good at carryimg the puck and shooting - useless physically?
He's small.
That's the thing. Small and not a great passer?
What's he gonna do? Better have a major snipe
Habs now have control. They wait he might go elsewhereHe could have been sign next week for free. I guess Lapointe list was empty.

You should pity my teammates, 4% passing is a good night for me4% passing would be hilarious. lol Imagine playing with a guy like that.
No problem with the pick at 7th.
Do you know when teams can start signing players like Logan Morrison who went undrafted today.and now they don't have to sign him for 2 years but will own his rights.
