It's one thing to have unorthodox beliefs, but it's another to say them out loud. Especially considering what they just did to Kyrie. It's like he wants to get suspended too.

Kyrie is a fraud. I've never liked him. I thought he was a tool in Cleveland. A tool when he came here. Talented but nothing going on in that brain of his. The Earth is flat stuff was just the tip of the iceberg. Then the race baiting and generally strange and rude things said about us. The childish actions on and off the court. Acting like he's above all of us peasants. He's "enlightened" we just don't understand him, etc etc.

Sadly, this anti-semitic rhetoric isn't new. Nick Cannon was spewing it awhile ago. The same stuff. Its no secret Kyrie being a new muslim convert along with Jaylen, that they are being fed information that is incorrect and wrong. Heck, being friendly with Farrakhan and TNOI should be a wake up call. I was hoping Jaylen would see through that bullshit. But nope. He's like Kyrie now. "Enlightened" obviously. We're not idiots pal. And for a very educated guy, Brown looks like a fool. He knows DAMN well who those people outside the area were. Trust.

It's embarrassing. And it's upsetting.

Sorry but I'll take a guy like Kanter ANY DAY over Kyrie. Kanter isn't that great of a player obviously, but he knows a lot more about the world than Kyrie. Kyrie not being able to play a basketball game vs a guy who can literally never return home because he spoke against their govt and atrocities.

It would behoove Jaylen Brown to do a little research before tweeting support and then having to walk it back again under the guise of I am still learning and all of that.

He keeps stepping in shit and it is no longer acceptable.

I heard a drunk kid in the bathroom call Kyrie the N word after starting 5 F Kyrie chants last year in the Miami series. Jaylen is correct we do have work to do this area is ridiculous in terms of segregation and everyone basing their identity around which upscale white municipality they are from. The players don't like hearing a bunch of white people chant F Kyrie or F Draymond I don't know why people can't get that through their thick skulls.

Brown isn't 2 faced at all he waited until the last possible minute to bail on Kanye you know his true feelings. Kyrie had no intentions of apologizing until it was clear he would never appear in an NBA game unless he did. He isn't actually sorry although lets be honest if there is one group of people in his market who 100% supported him last year when he was banned from playing home games it would be the local Hasidic community.

"I saw a large group of our people from our community showing support for [Kyrie] and his return," Brown said Monday. "Me being proud of that support and being proud of our community for doing that does not mean I endorse or celebrate some of the things that were being done or being said."

Jaylen talks about Kyrie as though he was suspended for refusing to fight in the Vietnam War.

"Brown said he simply wanted to promote "Brown and Black people standing together on our issues rather than seeing images of violence in our media, music and movies that we don't entirely promote or profit from."

On our issues? Again, Kyrie was suspended for promoting anti-semitism. What the f*** is the "issue" here?

I mean, what the f*** is all of this?

"I've been in contact as a union member, as a former teammate just to show support for the situation that [Irving's] been going through," Brown said. "Being exiled from the game, of course, emotionally is a lot on our league, but it's a lot on everyone who's a fan of this game.

"Kyrie's contributed in a lot of ways to the game of basketball, so for him to be able to come back and be on the floor last night, I thought was something to celebrate. I thought that was something to support. The NBA, the Brooklyn Nets decided whatever the disagreements were or the concern was, was obviously handled and we were moving on. I was supporting that decision."

Jaylen continues to downplay Kyrie's anti-semitism. Combined with previous comments, at this point I firmly believe Jaylen Brown holds some (maybe even all) of the same anti-semitic beliefs as Kanye West and Kyrie Irving.

When the Nation of Islam sinks their hooks into you. This is what you get. Not traditional Islam. But a version by Farrakhan who literally wants Jews to burn. This is what happens. They prey on simpletons like Kyrie. Then use his stature to recruit others. Here comes Jaylen.

This is pathetic. The Black Israelites are some of the worst of the worst. Jaylen said he "didn't know" last night. Now today he's singing a different tune. Pathetic.

Everybody wants to be a "activist" but in actual reality, he's promoting the same hate and bigotry he wants to stop and bring attention to. Ironic

Is he a Celtics fan or a Bostonian? His we is referring to how he’ll help us improve. I agreed with him then but it’s disappointing to see his tune change when its not his people being effected.
“His people”….. oooh man that’s a tough phrase to drop. Might want to rethink it

Nope I think you’re probably mature enough to handle that and understand what I meant and didn’t mean it in a demeaning way. He is handling hatred towards Jewish people a lot more lightly than towards Black people.
Also mature enough in age to know when folks have used “your people” in the past in reference to race.

But so long as you meant well
