Possible. But there is no way he couldn’t see the shot when the third goal was scored. He is not making saves that the Canadian goalie is making.

Doesn't look good but, in this tourney, if any team can score 2 on Canada in the 3rd, it's probably these Russians. Having said that... 2 goal lead and Canada scores at will.

International Hockey between the top nations is much more superior Hockey to watch than NHL Hockey.
If you're showing a complete newcomer Hockey for the first time you watch international Hockey not NHL.
The world Junior final is generally one of the best games of the year until the world championship semi or final barring some playoff games in the NHL.
Then again I hate NHL Hockey and their and American mindset. So I only watch international Hockey.
I'm thrilled Michkov is not going to the NHL for 3 years. I hope more Europeans put the middle finger up to the NHL.

Most definitely. I've loved watching the world juniors for decades now.
But this one....seeing how good these underagers are...to do this stuff at 15, 16 and 17...crazy.

I haven't seen much of this tournament but man this game has been great. It's no surprise that these kids grew up watching guys like Erik Karlsson and Patrick Kane, lots of confidence with the puck to try creative offensive plays.
I'm glad to see Russia playing physical and pushing Canada in that way. Good experience to learn from for the players.

Last time when canada was not owned their pathetic ass, it was in that u-20 2020 final. And they still somehow managed to loose that game
The NHL has become the NBA; uniform and unvaried. Predicable and boring.
It’s difficult for me to get emotionally invested in a bunch of 17 year olds, but the entertainment value of the u18 is fantastic.
@Svedu where is your righteous outrage about the refs literally refusing to call anything on Russia
Canada’s team defense is superb.
Individually they’re are having difficulty containing the Russians in one on one situations, and with counter-attacks, but Russia is really having a difficult time sustaining offensive pressure thus far, especially on the PP.
