So dumb. If Thornton would have stunk they would have given him 50 pitches to get through 2 innings. But he’s throwing well ... so pull him at 25. And put in a bum instead.

Im curious why players scoop balls like that? Wouldnt it be better to leave the glove there and squeeze the ball? By scooping hes knocking the ball away? Its like players swing at the incoming ball.
