But they need their best if tiebreakers come into the equation, and it's still the Orioles, possibly even a bunch of call-ups, so Ryu should be more than enough. Might be able to get around it if they use an opener.

I'd much rather get one of the many great 3B/SS available for just money and term than a guy who will bail after one season or so to avoid playing on turf. Pitching would be a much better add especially if it means we have money for Matz, who will pull a Walker and ask for something like $15 for 5 or something like that, or if we get a chance to offload Ryu before he breaks down. High offense Catching is one of the few positions that can net you a great starting pitcher.

Problem is that he’s extremely hittable now so even below average hitters can hit his stuff hard.
