I'm guessing not loading the bases and setting up the DP. Judge is just as dangerous if not more than Stanton and they didn't seem to bother.
Yeah that one hurts, but in a 162 game season, it's tough to put it on one spot.
Could they just do what they do in the NBA where it's conferences instead of divisions? If NBA ran it the same way as MLB that would ruin the leagueyeah you figure we should be in the central same as detroit. but no matter how much sense it makes. we are stuck in the east
f***ing pathetic at bats from the Nats
Yeah especially after the .500ish first half and countless blown late leads
I f***ing knew the Sox and Yanks would win. I honestly think they both have a 100% winning average in big games.
Never thought of that. Buffalo may be the only sports city more cursed than us.If we played at home all year we win the division.
These are the reasons as to why we likely aren't making it now:
- Springer injuries (considering how good he was when he's healthy, it's a shame he was reduced to so few games at 100%)
- Bullpen woes (Dolis, Chatwood, Hand, and Castro with all these cough ups)
- Weak SP at the beginning (pre-Berrios, pre-Manoah, pre-Matz breakthrough, this team was sending Anthony Kay and Trent Thornton to the mound every few days)
- Playing away from Skydome for first 4 months of the year
