God, terrible baserinning from Gurriel there. Gotta be more intense than that.

Not trying to pick on you but the throw was on the money and Gurriel is our slowest non-catcher. He would have been out.

I don't know how healthy Springer is and I'm not sure it's even 50%, but whatever it is, he is still valuable. Hit 2 huge homers for us this season.

Dyson is going to go down as one of the underrated pick ups this season.

He won’t be a starter but he will come in late, cause havoc on the base pads and play great CF defence.

Dyson has been on base 4 times with the Jays and scored 3 times. He has yet to make an error in CF.

Wells was too worried about Dyson rather than worry about Lamb and Springer. Springer hits the bomb.

Agreed which is why starting Dyson like Charlie did yesterday doesn't make sense.

is McGuire hurt?? How is Jansen at the plate right now?

Jansen has an OPS in the .900's since May. Outside of a putrid April he's been as good as Kirk.

Not pinch hitting for Lamb with literally anyone was n issue though. Meanwhile Buck continued to prop him up about how good of a game he had(which he did) after his at bat, including the sac fly which normally would help but was literally the same as a strikeout in that spot.

Someone was bashing him?

There was some "and we're paying him how much for how long?" when he first went down in the Mariners series. There was even someone who honestly suggested trying to trade him now.

Most people aren't bashing Springer, just questioning if it makes sense to keep him in the lineup when he is struggling and hobbled as much as he very visibly is.

Jansen's been solid since he came back from injury.

.260/.412/1.126 in September. I still would potentially consider putting Kirk in, but Jansen is absolutely better than McGuire.

Jano now with BABIP. Who'd have thunk it. (Checks my post history)

Left for yoga after 10-5

what a pleasant surprise. Almost make me like Montoyo, almost

If he’s running out of the box he makes it easily. Once he lazily jogged down to first, yes, he made the right call by not trying to stretch it.
