Brome and Andersson are not reinforcements. We need to wait for a decision from other players and, based on their response, turn to hockey players who are less strong.

I agree with this. Lundestrom and especially Sorensen are almost at the bottom of the barrel (as someone described it), and there's no reason to dig even further down into it.

Another thing that struck my mind... The fact that Lundestrom was quickly added to the roster but Jacob Larsson, another young Anaheim player, wasn't, makes me believe there's a good chance OEL and/or Lindholm is joining

Hampus isn't joining, he hasn't played since February.

Should be fairly easy to see why Larsson hasn't been invited. Lundeström was doing well for the NT last year btw, and depending on what game you watched did either just ok or good in Anaheim.

Yes, don't see the point of bringing over Lias Andersson or Bromé. Bringing in new players disturbs team chemistry and cohesion, so they must be a clear improvement to bring in. Had they come in for Czech Hockey Games on try-outs to earns their place, that would be one thing, but Are Bromé and Lias Andersson seriously much better than what we already have on the roster? I don't think that is a guarantee. Both of them are also pretty much as good as they're gonna get, so its not "a watch and learn" situation, which I might grant for Lundeström. If we're to bring players over from NA they should either be established stars or young players for the future, not 25+ y.o. fringe players

Andersson is literally a year older than Lundeström.

But idk why y'all still on that branch, Garpen hasn't invited either, and nothing points towards it. The both of them wants to play, ok, that doesn't mean anything.

Look, Andersson and Brome are not in the same boat. Lias is having a strong finish to his season, and is just 22

Well, tre kronor often plays good when we are underdogs and not have any stars on the roster in WC. and we dont have to worry about getting relegeted, becuse no team is getting relegeted this tournament.

Lindholm has a fractured wrist. In beginning of march, the timetable for his return was six weeks. Unless he's suffered any setbacks, he should easily be ready to play when the World Championships start. Has it been confirmed anywhere that he's not going to play?

I've felt Lundestrom been rushed by the Ducks in past years, but this season he's played like he's belonged in the league. He's already defensively sound, skates well, and shows good vision. I think he's a safe bet to solidify himself as a middle six forward quite soon. I wouldn't expect much production from him in Riga, but he should be a solid player for the bottom six.

There are times where Larsson still looks like he could become a top 4 defenseman in the NHL, especially at the end of last season. I don't think he ever gets there, though, but I think he'd be a top defenseman in the SHL, and a good defenseman in the KHL, currently. Surely, for this tournament, he'd be another bottom of the barrel selection, but depending on what other reinforcments will/won't join, I might take him.
