I don't either but Hajek, Zadina and Hronek flew in two days ago and all 3 are playing today. No idea how that's possible but it is. Chytil is also practicing with team and he arrived yesterday as well.

I wonder if vaccinations effect how a player can enter the bubble. As far as I know most Canadian teams have been getting vaccinated and will be fully before the season ends. So perhaps that changes how guys enter the bubble.
As far as Ruzicka goes, I still am confident he will join the team. According to Flames coach, he will get a few games (he is not playing tonight I don’t think). Dube and Mangipane from the flames are joining team Canada roster after the season, so the issue of timing for Ruzicka is not as major as many think. Also, he will be relatively fresh having mostly just been skating and not playing up until these upcoming games

Michal Kristof is missing on the roster on EP portal. Does EP know more than us fans? Final roster should be announced on weekend as far as I know. I hope this is not true although Michal has not played last 2 games against CZE.

I am quite surprised they cut Regenda. He performed more than decent.

The last U17 player to play at the WC was Leo Gasprini in 1939 for Mussolini’s Italy (despite himself being a Canadian). No team in WC history has played more than 1 U17 player at the World Championship.

I don’t think Slaf will play on a checking line, and that’s what Sukel and Fasko Rudas would be. Playing 2 17 year olds on the second PP unit would be pretty daring, although they did play together during the exhibition matches but against lesser competition than we will face in the tournament. Other wise, I agree with your lineup selection.

Lantosi isn’t really goal scorer. Hrivik will probably lead points but I wouldn’t be shocked if Gernat was top scorer due to PP.
