Hmm, im suprised Sergei Tolchinsky was not invited. perhaps Klim Kostin and Alexei Bereglazov should get invited aswell, i think they would be good roleplayers.

If we don't get any NHL players we won't be competitive this year. I think the following lines, combos, are almost certain by now:
Kuzmenko - xxxx - Burdasov
Mamin - Shalunov - Okulov
xxx - Zernov - Tolchinsky
xxx - Morozov - Podkolzin
If we could get Buchnevich, Guryanov and Dadonov it would help. Maybe Grigorenko and Barabanov.
Without Shipachyov, Panarin and Gusev (together with Dadonov and Shipachyov) we are missing to many key players. Due to Covid19 we can't really get NHL Players who are thrown out of the play-offs.

Maltsev and Knyzkhov are playing in NHL for a reason. Russia will not have their best players in this WC. So perhaps players such as Maltsev and Knyzkhov can steal a spot, especially since its 28 players allowed.

No one will call them, the national team has Yudin, Khafizullin, Dronov, Naumenkov + Zaitsev, Zub and Gavrikov will come almost 100%, where is Knyzhov's place here? The same is in the attack, there is Marchenko, Galimov, Kraskovsky, Voronkov, there is Timkin and Karnaukhov for the check-line + Grigorenko, Barabanov will come almost 100%,
where is Maltsev's place here?
Our federation has the main result, and not the test of any young player from the NHL.

Zub, Grigorenko and Barabanov dont have contract for the upcoming season, thats why i dont count them in. I forget about Zaitsev, he is a very good player who is a lock.

I agree. I can't see a place for Maltsev and Knyzkhov. If the regular season would be already over, you could invite them for training camp. If they are really better than KHL Players they will earn their spot. If not, send them home.
