There are also no Juniors to report to at the moment. Both their leagues (WHL/OHL) are delayed until Feb at the earliest.

The Sabres could have refused permission for Cozens and Quinn to go to the WJC so they wouldn't miss camp like the Rangers did with Alex Lafreniere. I'm glad they didn't and they'll have some good memories of this terrible year.

Yeah that appears to be the case. Don’t see why they wouldn’t add them on the list with a note that they’d appear after the WJC to avoid confusion. Or I could stop smoking dope.

Edit: I know the leagues are scheduled to start in Feb, and if that holds the players will have camp to go to as well around mid jan. And since we don’t know their RTP protocol they could’ve required the junior guys in town before the start of season for isolation or something. Either way, all a moot point. Cozens and Quinn should be at camp after WJC.

Nah, it doesn't signal anything. They can't be there at the start of camp because of the WJC. They might miss it entirely if they have to quarantine after crossing the border.

Hopefully they’ll stream the blue and gold scrimmage that’s scheduled for Saturday the 9th at 7pm. Guessing that’s the plan with the evening time.

I'm surprised the Sabres don't have more scrimmages scheduled. The Flyers are planning on having a lot of scrimmages.
