I appreciate the effort but it's just another reasons why I cant wait for "real" hockey to start.

I dunno about the rest of the league but for DRW we're just tacking on SOs for practice whether they are needed or not. So not sure if you want to include SOW, SOL in the calculation.

I did think about that - the League offered that for any game, regardless of the outcome, the teams can elect to do a shootout for practice.
But I don't think those are recorded in any boxscores anywhere, so it's harder to track

Pre-season is just that. Pre-season. It's just warmup and means little to nothing

In 2017 Colorado went 6-0 in preseason and then proceeded to post a historically bad 48 point season. Needless to say preseason counts for nothing.

Same with the Oilers every year with hall, Eberle and yakupov haha
