Merkley is a RW. The other Merkley, no relation, is a RD. The Crunch will need some scoring help, lot of kids to be relied on. His skating isn't the best but very good vision. Not really a guy for Tampa, unless his skating improves, more a Crunch guy with still a little potential.
Waiting with interest to read the package you have put together that will make it happen. If Louie Erikson can be moved ans that stralman contract then there's no excuse
Prinably a 1st rounder. There is no maybe, JBB has to get going here. We literally can't can't sign these kids.Waiting with interest to read the package you have put together that will make it happen.
Getzlaf woulda been awesome...
Don't think GMJB wants to give up a first to dump TJ (based on rumors from last off-season). But GMRF in SEA probably wants even more than that.
TJ is probably waiting for GMRF to outwait GMJB instead of potentially waiving for ARI.
not sure whats worse, Losing back to back finals to us or doing the Pavelski and picking Dallas over us and then lose to us in the finals that same yearHe is so tired of losing against us in the finals that his only option would be to join us!
I mean who are they looking at re-signing in two years that is so expensive that TJ's contract is really an issue? We've been able to compete with multiple "bad, handcuffing" contracts, so I don't get some teams being so paranoid about having this one.Arizona taking TJ's contract would be the longest one they'd have acquired so far. Ghost Bear has two years left, but he's also 28.
They're taking bad contracts, but they aren't handcuffing themselves.
Because they don’t have to unless the return is sufficient for themI mean who are they looking at re-signing in two years that is so expensive that TJ's contract is really an issue? Of course, but people are acting like no return in the world would be sufficient because it's the worst contract in the known universe.Because they don’t have to unless the return is sufficient for them
I hear ya, but I’m worried JBB May have to move Palat. The cost to move Strallman was a 2nd plus a prospect for one year left on a 5.5 million deal. TJ is owed 15 Million over 3 years. What’s that gonna cost to move? Foote and a 1st? Is that enough? Should the Lightning do that?Of course, but people are acting like no return in the world would be sufficient because it's the worst contract in the known universe.
Perry played in both finals and lost,if we sign him i will be very superstitious
